Recorder Design

The DR8100 utilizes the proven technology of Rising Edge Technologies high speed data recorders to create a specialized, small form factor recorder designed for applications where space is a premium.  The card-based design of the DR8000 products allows the DR8100 to be readily configured to maximize performance and operational functionality in support of a wide range of applications.

A modular I/O card allows the DR8100 to be adapted to meet the specific record and playback requirements of a variety of applications.   The recorder architecture is designed to provide continuous, uninterrupted recording for the entire capacity of the DR8100’s removable hard drive.  Both spinning disk and solid state disk drives are supported.  Signal files can be played back at their full record rate or copied via the network interface for offload, analysis, and archive.
