Rising Edge Technologies has a long history of providing innovative technical solutions using COTS and custom components to achieve the desired cost and performance parameters of its customers. Since our beginning, Rising Edge has used its engineering experience in technology development, field deployment and prototyping services to exceed customer expectations.
The Company employs a mix of engineering and management personnel with specific expertise in such diverse areas as:
- System Development: All phases of system design and development including Systems Analysis and Systems Requirements Analysis, System Architecture Design and Analysis, Systems Integration, and Systems Design and Development.
- Software Design and Development: Software design and development includes all aspects of Real Time Embedded Software Design and Development with languages such as C/C++ and Assembly as well as Non-Real Time User Applications in VXWorks and Binary Executive. Software design expertise also includes the ability to develop Device Drivers, Graphical and Non Graphical Man Machine Interfaces, Embedded HTTP/HTML Development, and Remote Control functionality.
- Hardware Design and Development: The company’s hardware skills include Digital Circuit Design, Analog Circuit Design, Digital Signal Processing, and the use of Programmable Logic (FPGA/CPLD). Design and development using tools such as Verilog, VHDL, and AHDL.
- Operating Systems: Traditional operating systems such as Windows, Unix, and Linux as well as real time operating systems from RT Linux, TimeSys, and VXWorks.
- Commercial Storage Technology: Targeted expertise in the area of disk drives, tape drives, solid state memory and disks, optical disk, automated library systems, network attached storage, RAID, hierarchical storage management, back up software and storage benchmarking are supported.
- Support Services: In support of the design, development, and production services performed by the Company, additional specialties are required. These include PCB Layout and Fabrication, Contract Manufacturing/PCB Assembly, Automated In-Circuit Testing, and Configuration Control
